September 25, 2011 – Roxanne + Brad are married!

Labour Day weekend, Roxanne and Brad tied the knot at Oakview Terrace in Richmond Hill.  We should have predicted the weather, maybe not the rain but the humidity and the heat because when we did their engagement session at The Badlands, it was probably one of the hottest days in the summer, we melted! So it only made sense the weather was what it was…

Either way, we made the best of it… the rain only hit early in the afternoon and stopped right before the ceremony and held out the rest of the day/night, it was perfect.  Everyone at the wedding, family, bridal party of 14 and guests were super nice and fun to photograph! Al and I got so many great shots, it was hard to cull through them for the blog.  I’ll keep this blog short and sweet because of the amount of photos I included in the blog.

Congrats to Roxanne and Brad!

Al tried some cool composite with them… it looks awesome!

September 9, 2011 – Wendi + Kim’s E-session

Wendi and Kim are very close friends of mine… We go way back to the age of the 20’s and some fun times! 🙂  When they got engaged it was such an honor and pleasure that they asked me to photograph their wedding.  I’ll be honest,  I don’t usually agree to photograph friends weddings, it’s a lot of pressure on me but I’m happy I said yes… especially after their engagement session.  We went down to Cabbage Town so we can have a mix of graffiti urban and some pretty flowers… nice mixture if you ask me!

See for yourself!

August 11, 2011 – Kristel + Mike’s Summer E-session

Summer Love’n… how wonderful! This session was number 3 for Kristel + Mike. They are old pro’s now in front of the camera… It’s sad that we won’t be doing anymore engagement sessions… we did, Winter, Spring and now summer… they ordered an engagement session signing guest book, so all the different seasons will look awesome in their book. I call it the engagement “year book” 🙂 I know I’m corny.

The shoot went great, minus the humidity, the bit of rain and did I mention the 9am start time down at Ashbridges downtown. We were dragging butt a bit but it was worth it. We got some great shots if I say so… LOL. I can’t wait for their wedding… September 24th… here we come!

Until then, here are some sneaks from their summer love session!

July 31, 2011 – Roxanne + Brad’s E-session

I met Roxanne + Brad last September at the National Bridal Show.  They are getting married Labour Day weekend at Oakview Terrace.  Its a great venue, the grounds are beautiful.  For their engagement session, we originally wanted to go down town to The Brick Worx… but last minute I decided on the the Caledon Badlands… something a little different! 🙂 It was so crazy, insanely hot outside but totally well worth it.  Photos turned out awesome!  Can’t wait for their wedding… gonna be a fun wedding!

Had to add this one… it was just too hard not to.

July 19, 2011 – Jacqui and Rich are married!

Its been almost a month since my last blog post… oh oh, i’m slacking… I know.  I’ve been so busy lately, the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun!  So with the long delay of blogging, I’m hoping that you agree with the “all good things come to those who wait” line and you enjoy this next blog.  Jacqui and Rich tied the knot on June 25th, it was a great day, the weather held out, they were calling for rain but what we got was a perfect overcast day… gods way of giving us photogs a perfect softbox up above.  I had the pleasure of working with Kristina from michaelraimi.com, a wonderful photographer and a great friend.  The two of us tag teamed the day and it was AWESOME!!!  The ceremony started at Scarborough Bluffs United Church, it was beautiful.  The church had big windows, grand ceilings… what more do you need.  We then headed over to Guild Inn Gardens for the family photos.  To be honest, I’m not going to write too much about this, the photos will speak for themselves to show you how amazing it was.  There were about 7 or so other weddings there but we made due and well… see for yourself.  After leaving Guild Inn, we battled traffic and ended up partying the night away at The Avenue.   The night was so much fun… Jacqui’s sister was the MC and might I say… standing ovation goes out to her, GREAT, GREAT Job!  The dj was awesome, but I may be bias to that, since Gary G was the DJ at my wedding… tee hee, so that was GREAT! and I kinda, a little bit, cheated on my diet and tried one of their cup cakes…. I gotta say, if you’re going to cheat on your diet, make it count… holy did that count! SOOOO GOOD, they were GREAT! LOL… So with all this greatness going on, I’ll stop typing and start showing! Enjoy~ and a big congrats goes to Jacqui and Rich.

How cute is Jacqui’s niece… lol love the face!

Just in case the rain came down…

The lake looked so cool, so thought I’d add a photo Kristina took just before we left the park.

Those cup cakes were so yummy!
